Terry is a native of Sacramento, California. The 2010 season will be Terry's sixth season with the Senators. He has previously worked for the Ogden Raptors and Fort Wayne Wizards. He is a long time fan of the San Francisco Giants, 49ers and Golden State Warriors.

When he's not at a ballpark broadcasting, you can find him and his wife Liz somewhere on the Appalachian Trail. Outside of baseball, Terry volunteers with Junior Achievement and has been involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Liz and Terry reside in Mechanicsburg with their two cats, Natalie and Panther.
